Jessore Wild Life Sanctuary, Balundra, District Banaskantha
 
  Located in the folds of Arravali hills. Jessore hill is the second highest peak in Gujarat.
  The sanctuary is known more for the endangered Sloth Bear
  The other important faunal species are leopards, Rhesus macaque, Indian civet cat, porcupine, fox, striped, hyena, wild boar etc.
  Best time to visit the sanctuary is between September – October to February – March.
  Existing facilities REst house at Balundra, camp site.
  Nature trails, new tracking paths need to be added and signages need to be strengthened.
